Every single mechanic and way of doing RPG shit was done pretty fucking excellently. For a lot of that stuff I couldn't think of a single better way they could have done it.
Combined with amazing worldbuilding, level design and visuals it's easily my favorite game of all time.

I wouldn't say it's flawless. The combat system, while pretty fun in its own way, was very confusing at times and wasn't really accessible to those who didn't have much prior experience to RPGs or previous Mario RPG installments. This isn't to say that the combat system wasn't good, but I wouldn't say it was perfect.
Additionally, I felt the story was lacking in the sense that it was very cliche on a lot of fronts. The "twists and turns" throughout the story weren't at all surprising, though I'd assume they would be to someone who's maybe under the age of 10 playing an RPG for the first time.
With these aside, I'd say it's a pretty decent game overall.

I like the environments and enemies in 3 but they fucked the balance all up. I don't care about multiplayer shit either. It's just not viable to play pure sorcerer or pure faith until endgame when you can pump the stat to 60 to outdamage your raw longsword or whatever the fuck you were relying on. Faith build is especially fucked. Sorcery can buy great heavy soul arrow from a trainer. Great lightning spear is the equivalent in damage for that spell but you need rank 2 in Warriors of Sunlight to get it. Good luck making that build work if you don't care about multiplayer and don't play online. Hope you like killing 600 Lothric knights to get those retardedly rare sunlight medal drops. Basic lightning spear hits like a limp noodle even with high faith and a good upgraded chime.

What I meant by climbing was a pain in the ass is that these moments were there just so Naughty Dog can masturbate at the thought of them doing great landscapes and they just slowed down the pace of the game, specially when you just need to press x like a maniac while holding the direction you want to go. You've missed the shortcut to the one reborn. One of the elevators has a door you can roll off through and onto the roof. Up there there's a platform that teleports you to another spot. Then you go across a bridge, kill a bell maiden and the one enemy it managed to summon, climb down the ladder and go to the boss door unopposed. You only have to fight two enemies to get back to that boss if you die.

The most egregious thing the game does is present you with the illusion of choice. The game constantly promotes the idea of choosing when or when not to kill enemies, which is a fine concept. But it completely undermines this by having multiple paths, with the Pacifist path being the “true” ending. So essentially, if I want to beat the game and get the real ending, I have to not kill anything. The game has already made the choice for me. The idea of choice goes right out the window.
Aesthetically the game is hideous. A lot of the pixel art feels amateurish, and a lot of them is rendered at different aspect ratios, which is a huge no-no in pixel art from what I understand. I wouldn’t mind if the game went for an intentionally shitty style, like Space Funeral, but it ruins any chance of this by having outside artists do some of the art for the shopkeepers, which looks a thousand times better than anything in the game.
A bunch of Homestuck music with the Earthbound soundfont and some chiptunes isn't enough to save this ugly game with a shit story and Wariorware minigames.

I've beaten Uncharted 1-3 but I can't say I enjoyed any of them. It sounds casual to say it but there was just too much combat. You kill wave after wave of enemies constantly, it gets so fucking tedious. Especially when gunplay is already a weak point of the games. Just boring unsatisfying shootouts back to back over and over in each game. Feels like a grind.

The level design was infuriating, especially the Beard levels.
The first HM had a fair difficulty curve and multiple ways to approach a level, HM2 on the other hand has some downright abysmal enemy placement and level design built around linear strategies. The game turns into cheese city later on, whereas in HM1 cheesing was something you would only need to do rarely, and the first game kept a better pace overall.

Yeah I dunno, imo that's like saying a beautiful woman has skin problems just because she has a single mole on her. I feel like a game can have a flaw but have it be totally overshadowed by how good the rest of the game is.
Technically that's not "flawless" but if you are looking for 100% pure perfection you might have autism. Video games are just made by normal men.

No. It''s a fantastic game and it's fairly polished, but it's certainly not flawless. MP and SP wise it's a step down from 2 in most aspects, customs/forge being the main exception.
And 2 itself is pretty damned flaw in spite of it being one of my favorite games of all time.

Personally there's just one thing that prevents me from calling it flawless, it isn't even the second half, which I didn't find THAT bad, but the fact that bonfire placement in some cases really punishes you for repeatedly attempting a boss by adding horrible padding in the form of a looong travel distance between the bonfire itself and the boss wall.
Gwyn and Seath are two especially troublesome examples that come to mind. Thankfully that's a problem the third game mostly eliminated.

No it's not, it's like a beautiful woman having one of those little chicken wing arms. You cannot ignore how out of place, empty, and rushed some of the later portions of the games were. I think that's a legitimate gripe to hold against the game. I believe saying the game is garbage for such a thing would be a bit on the autistic side, but there's nothing wrong with acknowledging blatant flaws and shortcomings.

Well it's just a matter of managing the overheating on the turret. It's almost impossible to get it to overheat if you fire in short bursts, and a single shot is enough to destroy the rocks. Also shooting rocks as they spawn in the distance is easier because they're not so spread out. You fuck up the moment you try shooting rocks that are too close to you because not only does the turret turn slow, but you also also eat like 3-4 hits while you're at it.
Chrono Trigger is the only flawless game. It was made by the dreamteam for godsakes.

The ending wasn't the problem. The ending was great. It's getting the 4 lordsouls that was the issue. Remember demon ruins and izalith. Complete and utter garbage. Fight a shitty boss to turn off the lava, fight yur way through like 6 of the samw recycled enemies to get to a recycled boss, to get to a trashy boss with recycled music, then you walk through an isotropic plane of lava fighting lame dragon asses until you happen to find where to go, then fight the worst boss in the game. Izalith is the worst case of wasted potential in any video game.

Sure. The actual ending of the game is fine, but I can easily say that areas such as Lost Izalith, Demon Ruins, and Ash Lake left much to be desired. There's clear inconsistencies of content, design, and quality.
Also, after thinking about it, a beautiful woman with a chicken wing is probably a bit too harsh, more like a beautiful woman with fucked up teeth or something. You get what I'm saying though.

You weren't like "thank fuck that's over with" or "holy shit I almost didn't finish this garbage because of Lost Izalith". It wasn't a great area or boss but I didn't get upset, I was so excited to complete my playthrough and get a new char going/dive into PvP.

Having such a reaction after beating a game isn't a prerequisite of a game having to be flawed in my book. You can have an overall good experience while still acknowledging a few faults in the game, man.
