Marketing isn't "BUY MY GAME". It is subtle. It is making counter threads so you can make threads about the game praising it and debunking the people knocking it. As long as the name of your game is being mentioned as many times as possible then you've succeeded.

Blizzard's first response was something along the liens of "we don't want anyone to feel excluded". If it was solely a creative decision, then exclusion/inclusion would not have been their response. They would have simply said that they agree the pose doesn't fit the character.
