Protip homo, the game is set in the hundred days offensive which saw a major usage of SMG's, LMG's, Semi Auto Rifles, Anti tank rifles, shotguns, squad based tactics, the first tank on tank combat and the very first use of combined arms in history.
Aside from the gameplay being generic Battlefield run and gun, all the things you see are period realistic enough. If you want to get butthurt about minor things, then go get butthurt that a WW2 game had an StG44 or a PPS-43 in a Stalingrad level.
