Generic characters are mostly inferior tho. They never learn the good cool exclusive attack skills that show characters learn. Nor can you ever change their costumes.

Both are grindy as fuck. LS just feels less grindy because it's more action-y. And don't forget that there's like a couple of dungeons and 100 caves that look almost the same in LS while HF actually bothers with making different areas.
