This is just a remaster being made by Bethesda's little child studio in Montreal, it's not a release by Todd's studio. Morrowind and Oblivion would need to be remade completely, which means 3-4 years of development and tens of millions of dollars. Todd's studio is working on TES 6, they don't have time for that.

As much as I love Morrowind I can't see them not fucking up an HD remaster/remake of it not to mention all of the decade or so of mods that suddenly won't work. OpenMW is probably the closest and best thing we'll get to a remaster.

for the 11th millionth time, bethesda is working on TES 6 right now. skyrim hd isn't a remake, it's a remaster with some graphical bumps and with mod support on consoles, and it's being made by bethesda's side studio in montreal.

Honestly, if they connected Morroblivion with Skyrim, and evened-out some of the aesthetic differences, unified the UI and mechanics and everything, I'd pay full price for that. Maybe include a couple of the most popular mods, like alternative starts.
But no. It's just going to be what we already have on PC ported to new consoles: HD texture pack, 1080p, 60fps (maybe) and that's that. Just a pure cash grab with no substance whatsoever. Nothing we haven't already experienced.
