So what's your Overwatch rank /v/?
I was around 900 the first week, but then didn't play for a few days.
Who cares about this dumb rank shit this site provides, it's tied almost literally to how much you play. It's a nolife ranking.

Score/min indicates skill
>>340860107
Regardless of the fact that OP was clearly not referring to score/min, that one is also suspect because each hero accumulates score at different rates.

I don't mind the forced ~50% win rate, I just wish it was more varied/faster updating. I usually just play for an hour or so after coming home from work and it typically goes like this
>Monday: win 10 games in a row and end up with 50+% win rate
>Tuesday: lose 10 games in a row and end up with <50% win rate
>Wednesday: win 10 games in a row and end up with 50+% win rate
>Thursday: lose 10 games in a row and end up with <50% win rate
>Rinse and repeat
I'd prefer if it was WIN LOSE WIN LOSE instead of WIN WIN WIN WIN LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE
>join game
>two seconds later
>defeat
>count as loss
This isn't fair

Im number 1 because I dont play this shitty game.
>first week of launch had about 100 games total
>65% winrate
>fast forward to now, im at 53%
my hero performances have actually gone up so i dont understand why id be losing more games.

For that to happen the matchmaking would have to drastically adjust your mmr after ever match and that's not a good idea.
That's because one random match tells little of your average skill. Sometimes one gets those matches where they are on fire and perform way better than usually and other times even decent player can have a bad mach where nothing works.

Because there are people better than you and as long as you kept winning most of your games, the matchmaking kept putting you against better and better players.
>>340862387
because the mm system is matching you with shit teammates to bring you down and artificially manage your win rate
before i got my refund my win rate constantly bobbed up and down 65% to 50%
a buncha stomp victories followed by a buncha stomp defeats, its the mm system, and its hypercasual trash

also this shit thread belongs in overwatch general

>score + score/min
i don't get how it works, my score per min is like rank 120k+ but i have a lot of golds, mainly playing defense/support characters
is it easier to have a high score per minute with more offense characters played?
