It's not a hack&slash and has a different kind of fun gameplay with team building and map exploration.
It's a fun game regardless, it has ex-vanillaware talent so it's only natural it has some of vanillaware's characteristics.

I watched some gameplay video of it, and not gonna lie - it looks like ass.
The gameplay looked rather bland and the writing was just... ehhh. Not to mention, the graphics don't have that Vanillaware charm or attention to detail.
I'll give this one a pass and buy Odin Sphere - Give Us Your Money Again Edition.
