Uncharted engine renders the scene twice, tilts it and interlopes the two using a proprietary fxaa style blending. This eliminates most jaggies. They've been using this technique since up your arsenal I believe.

Uncharted 4 is so weird.
It looks extremely good when you look at a screenshot from afar but as soon as you look closely each individual part is terrible.
The textures are bad, the ambiant oclusion is bad, the AA is meh, the models are meh (except for nate and a bunch of main characters), etc. The only really good thing is the lightning, so what's the secret here ? Filters, like for The Order ?

Most modern games are like that. It's strictly the lighting which encompasses texture maps and shaders.

This image is a perfect example of what we're talking about. There's a brick wall in the capital of Fallout 4 too that looks great until you get up close to it.

It's a curse being sensitive to jaggies. I can tell the entire screen is aliased at a glance just because I'm used to supersampling games until they have no jaggies at all even through transparent textures.

Only the cutscenes look good but that's no magic. Sonyfags tend to use cutscenes as comparision or they are talking about cutscene in general because they think it's gameplay.

I saw plenty of them during gameplay, in motion. Somewhat, pausing the game makes everything look better.

If an image of a video game isn't painfully clear to look at even if you zoom in a bit, then it's got jaggies.

Jaggies aren't just about edges, textures get aliased at low resolution too. Just look at the rug in the bottom, it is so blurry.

anyways, jaggies are most visible between very bright and dark things, which is why shiny metal things are the biggest culprits for noticeable jaggies

most of the things in that picture are about the same level of lightness, and the things that are noticeably brighter (the window, edges of the pictureframes in the forefront of the scene) are the most noticeably jaggy
