I'm just going by what I've experienced. I've personally played over 60 hours so far and have never once died to Genji reflect. All the skill really does is serve a pseudo-invuln that you use defensively to prevent yourself from getting shot
What does Genji actually do? If you want a backline harasser to pick off supports, Tracer does that several times better. If you are looking for a straight up damage dealer, every other assault hero outdoes him. Combine that with the fact that his ult is the most high-risk ability in the game, leading to you getting killed more often than not, and I see no reason to pick him ever.

I remember a similar feeling when Halo: Reach launched. The reticle on the sniper felt way to big and I felt like sniping was way too easy compared to Halo 3's sniping.

Genji can cancel his rightclick animation with his melee and cancel melee animation with his dash.
When Winston jumps on Genji a decent Genji will do just that. And after that he will already be out of Winstons range where he can kite him endlessly because of his higher movement speed and double jump while poking jim to death with his left-click.
Genji can't kill a tank while standing in front of him but he can easily maneuver around him while throwing shurikens at him similar to tracer.

If we are already talking about roadhog, its really retarded that his hook is a hitscan and not a projectile.
Combined with the huge hitboxes and shitty tickrate this very often leads to situations where you get hooked through walls, stairs and other shit.
I know he isnt a strong character, so they should buff him in some other way if they "fix" the hook. But how it works right now is just very bad design.
The hook animation actually comes out AFTER you already confirmed the hit, because its a hitscan.

It's not hitscan, it has a travel time, therefore it is a projectile. Hitscan is INSTANT, that is why it is hitscan. Hitscan checks upon firing whether it lands or not, Roadhog's hook does not do this, that is why it can be reactively blocked by shields.

It is actually a weeird mix between hitscan and a projectile.
The projectile part is only there to give the illusion of a skillshot to bad players i guess.
If your crosshair is over them while you press hook it ALWAYS latches onto them except if they shield.
It should become a pure projectile though.
