I'd say Uncharted does cinematic gameplay a lot better than most of its ilk. Definitely better than The Last of Us. You have a lot more agency to do what you want. The car chase from Uncharted 4 is pretty impressive.

I had to look this guy up, he's hardly an accomplished storyteller. I'm not gonna say he's wrong to criticize "muh Uncharted," but anyone capable of basic analysis can understand how Nadine fits with the themes the game is trying to run with. The primary theme of the story is obsession and knowing when to walk away. Sam was obsessed, Nate was obsessed, Rafe was obsessed, the old archaeologist woman was obsessed. Two of them learned to walk away from their obsessions, in the end; two of them let their obsessions ruin their lives and died for it. Nadine was in the same camp as Sully the entire time: This is a job to get some scratch, nothing more. Both of them knew when to walk away from a bad deal. Nadine is shown to be smart, charismatic when the situation calls for it, and a very capable leader; she wouldn't go to the grave for the treasure, nor would she do any of the things which typically put one into the "main villain" slot. This was a job for her, and one she wound up paying dearly for. She knew better than to make killing Drake a matter of honor or desire like Rafe wound up doing, just like how Sully knew better than to keep following the track when he realized just how badly he'd have to pay to win. Chances are he learned this lesson in a similar way to how Nadine learned it here.
Honestly, aside from being literally impossible to put up a fight against because of cinematic moment bullshit, I thought she was a neat villain.
