Half of the perks benefit it, and if you dont take unarmed LITERALLY, and LITERALLY dont use any weapons instead of even Brass Knuckles, then you can 2 or 3 shot a lot of enemies while ignoring their armor.

I'm starting to beleive that romance just doesn't have a place in a game like this. Mass Effect is the only one that ever got far with it, I think, and even then it started to fall apart after game 1.

That's a really big problem with people who want to roleplay as different characters.
Use the generic look? You're a ~30-40year old american man. Make a black old man and want to roleplay it? Nah, still have the voice of a 30/40year old white dude.
They should just give at least a few voice options for every gender and that's it.

The quest to identify Kellog is my personal favorite part of the game.
You go up to a Synth in Hate Synth City, describe the murderer and in the process effectively describe over half of the Raider population, and just like that Valentine identifies this man perfectly and he just so happens to have a home in Diamond City.
And then on the way to Kellog's house, Nick starts talking about how Kellog is the only man who could pull off such a complex operation. The same operation which simply involved walking into a Vault, which opens from the outside with a giant red button, and killing a delirious woman.

A big problem is the whole "everyone is bi" thing which tumblr bisexuals praise as the best shit to come out of gaming but to anyone else it's just lazy. Instead of being arsed to write the minimum requirement of depth into a romance with actual thought out orientations they just decide to make everyone chase your dick for fear that someone playing might not feel catered to otherwise.
