I feel like instead of having POTG and then commending players, it should be the other way around. Commend people, then show the highlight reel of whoever reaches 5+ votes.
That way, you don't have to see Torbs or Bastion take the spotlight every single time and people will feel less salty if the majority of people believe that player deserves some credit.
It would also allow more supports and tanks to get recognition when they otherwise might not have.
