Aurins are the best thing to come out if this but there's no good porn of them.

Integrating the dungeonfinder with the tiered loot from different achievements in runs was a bad idea. It became everyone leaves the moment things aren't going perfectly, and then 9 times out of 10 they don't go perfectly because you are thrown into these instances and expected to do a 100% perfect speed run with people you met 5 seconds ago.
I've never even touched Wildstar, or even thought about doing so, but it's free, and if you're on the fence, sleep on it, and if you're on the fence tomorrow just give it a go

While it was kinda cool the fact that dungeons were as hard as those ICC heroics (my only good point of reference) when they came out was fucking brutal. People just quit all the time. You had to bring your A game just to beat the first dungeon.
I don't mind the challenge but most just won't sit through it. I'm not even sure why I stopped playing because I generally enjoyed it and thought it was very pretty. The armor was kinda gross, but in time you can fix that. Great unique races too.
Dungeons are fun. But Carbine are incompetent.

It's been free for a long time, but they added it to steam so retards who literally can't wipe their own asses can get the game
They designed too much relying on a critical mass of players to constantly be at every stage of progress. What ended up happening is the people that played in organized raid guilds at launch stratified past the attunements and never touched them again. This left a gaping maw between them and anyone wanting to move up into raiding; as no one was doing the attunement processes anymore.
It was made worse by the loot system based on gold/silver/bronze achievements being applied in the dungeon finder. You ended up with a gold-or-bust mentality by people trying to push to prepare for raiding, and they would disband the runs every time things weren't going perfectly -- which was bound to happen when you're trying to do an achievement run with pugs you literally just met. I remember on the forums people complaining that they had been queueing instances solo for weeks and had yet to see the end of one.
The masses of people got tired of that real quick and stopped playing, and the raiding guilds struggled to maintain their numbers since no one new was coming up.

If you were on Widow it was impossible to do one of the attunement bosses because there was a glitch where if you put a dot on it it would kill everyone near-instantly, and the BOYZ guild was at that spot 24/7 casting dots on it and pulling people off of the ledge. Like, the guild was a legitimate issue and it was beautiful.
Shit game is shit, Pve not worth doing, pvp even more so, I was the highest rated stalker in the world at one point. Getting points was a grueling grind, even having a loss from a d/c at my ratting would mean almost 50 games worth of points lost due to shit servers.

There's this magical thing called a Guild, the game is still bad.
I played this game a LOT when it first came out. My first impressions were that it was another generic shitty uninspired MMO. After reaching around level 20, my opinion started to change a bit. I actually really liked the game's world, it was comfy, lots of the areas were very well designed and felt unique, not like anything I've seen in an MMO before.
I spent even more time with it and quickly grew tired of the combat, it really doesn't work. There's way too much shit to avoid and the movement is unreliable, PVP is a complete clusterfuck as well. For free, there is fun to be had here. But in all honesty, you'll get to level ~30, get bored and drop it. It has nothing new to offer, the combat is awful and it's a grindfest.

I couldn't say specifically for Wildstar, but typically when people gank lowbies like that it's often to incite a larger conflict. As in they do that until the lowbies rally people to help them, then a real fight happens.
Nearly all of my best vanilla WoW memories start with being ganked/camped by someone until it becomes a huge war.
