You need to time your blocks within a specific amount of frames to trigger 'Perfect Block'. There is an augment to increase the amount of frames to make it even easier. You can Perfect Block almost everything in the game save for Death's Scythe and Matt Daimon's Rift attack.

Mages are the best support class. Healing spell, Cure spell, Buff spells, Status spells, and the mage class gets a staff that essentially makes the pawn immortal.

Hell no. Sorcerers are ten times better than mages. Just carry curatives for healing, they're far more effective than spells. Mages are useless.

If you are not doing perfect blocks then you should learn how to abuse iframes. All the melee classes have a skill that gives them a good number of iframes to withstand attacks. Fighter has the skill "Dragon's Maw" which gives iframes the entire duration of the skill, fucks shit up and leaves you untouched.
