Not great. He's great against highly mobile heroes (Tracer, Genji) but the large health pool + E (600 hp + 300 hp of self heal) makes him a great way for the other team to charge ults. Tracer can get almoust a full charge off one Roadhog.
He is really sexy though....

You don't need to shield anyone when you instantly can turn 6v6 fight into 5v6 and cut away enemy healers & supports from distance.
That is why casual babies crying about heroes like Widowmaker all over the reddit. Skill based characters in the hands of skilled player is all you need to rape everything.
Roadhog is literally a self-sustaining annihilation if you can land hooks, which are extremely easy to land and have low cd.

Pretty great, as far as overwatch goes. He can interrupt ultimates, deall pretty good damage at close range and he doesn't need to rely on a healer.

Actually the recent comp. strategy for defense on certain maps is double Roadhog.

On payload maps in 1-hero-limit tournaments some teams run triple tank with roadhouse replacing one of the dps when attacking because he can sustain well on the cart and any pick he gets guarantees distance
Also stops enemies from contesting because touching the cart is 1shot distance
Without rein shield he is a walking ult battery with a 50/50 pick potential that is easily countered
he's not seen in competitive because
>he is a counter to faster heros with little health, something not picked often
>he is countered by mcree harder than anyone else does, and since mcree is a top pick in competitive there is not a lot of use to him
Once the nerfs and buffs are inbound things might change.

Pretty sure Winston is only for KotH maps. Payload and capture points are better with Reinhardt as you aren't taking damage from all directions.

Having both auras plus the ability for the Lucios to constantly alternate the big healing buff.
He has gotten competitive play on Hollywood defence last week.
If you pair him with a Zarya/Reinhardt/another Roadgod he is unstoppable.
