I've played the online mode a lot. Never finished the story or fucked around in single player much. Last time I played a GTA this much was San Andreas so after a ten year drought V was pretty enjoyable for me

I liked GTAV, but also saw it as a huge waste of potential and wasn't too happy with the overall package.
The entire upper half of the map outside of Los Santos felt so wasted in particular. Did they really have to put that many mountains there? If they had taken out several mountains and put more towns and more areas, that would have been a nice start for better variety. Nevermind the lack of interiors overall, or how the few the game did have were all mostly locked behind story missions. Among many other things.
I had fun with fucking around and driving/flying places and making my own fun, but even that didn't feel as enjoyable as in previous games.
