It's not about the expectation of grafix from Gust. I believe OP's expectation is that the retail price point of the game matches the quality of the game in technical terms. Atelier games imo, should cost $25-$35 for the quality of game you get on the ps4. But not a whole $60, the margins on that are way too high.
All the game has is alchemy. THe characters, plot, combat and other gameplay elements suck major dick and the price of the game should reflect that.
