I actually created a new character recently. As much as I liked DS3, it got me yearning for the truly non-linear world design of DS1 that they never really went back to. Being able to skip sections of the game and come back through them from the opposite direction is something I wish you could do in the later games, makes repeat playthroughs more satisfying.
Playing now. I logged 500 hours in DaS1 in its heyday, and I never played a sorceror, so I'm rolling one now.
Is it worth getting the Magic infusion for my weapon, or should I just upgrade it straight and stick with the Magic Weapon spell?

I recently started a new build and was thinking of "spell fencer" or just regular fencer. I think I got the outfit down but should I upgrade my rapier to magic/enchant then put heavy points into int or should I just stick with regular weapon?

I feel like it'd be weird. I beat DS for the first time like a month or two ago when online was basically dead. I play BB offline since I don't want to pay for PS+. The only time I see messages and ghosts is when I load up DSII. Playing to focus on online would be strange.
