You still have to go out and find the materials for the better armors, which can actually be harder than just finding a set of the armor on some random cunt due to leveled lists.
What they could do is make make the ores and shit even rarer, requiring you to go to specific places to find them. I remember wanting to craft some ebony armor, so I went and found this mine occupied by orcs and they wanted me to go do shit for them before letting me in, but I just forced my way in anyway, and then they got really rude so I kinda ended up killing all of them. Then I went back to Whiterun to craft my armor, only to notice that the cunt at the forge had started selling ebony ore, making that excursion completely pointless.
The real issue is merchants starting to sell stuff that's supposed to be really fucking rare when you get to higher levels. The game rewards you for inflating your level with smithing. That's why people abuse it.

Finally, someone gets it. I loved skills like Athletics and Acrobatics and Oblivion just because they were fun, but they obviously wouldn't fit in a game like Skyrim because simply by jumping over and over again you can level up, but then I had an idea.
Why not just make a couple "sub skills," skills that function like Oblivions in the regard that they don't have an associated skill tree and simply give you the perks when you've leveled them up enough. These sub-skills won't go towards leveling your character up, but they can still provide buffs and more fun in general.
The entire smithing system needs to reworked to hell if they're going to keep it, and I know that they will.

Judging by other Zenimax/Bethesda "remasters" (like Dishonored) you'll just get Skyrim with ultra settings/FXAA running at 1080p/60FPS and maybe Bethesda.net mods.

The launch was fucking god awful. Back then, the game was so bad nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing worked right. The game needed the trash treatment. Bad.
Now the game's actually pretty fucking good, but everyone just looks at the steamchart numbers and laughs at the 1K player count. (There's at least 500K players that play the PC version but don't go through steam.)

Only a handful of skills effected level. The different magic schools, armour skills, one-handed/two-handed, archery. Anything that'll help directly in combat will contribute to your level. Then others like, alchemy, acrobatics/athletics, smithing, shouldn't effect level.

Vamp just got a massive update that made managing the four stages super easy.

Werewolf's transformation is awesome, but unless you invest in the skill tree completely, you won't be able to sustain it for longer than about ten seconds. Fully skill'd out, you can keep it up as long as stuff is hitting you.

He's not really wrong. Dark Messiah combat feels a lot like Skyrim, just with a bit more weight and impact, plus actual differences in how the different power attacks work and the ability to prepare them in advance and release when ready.
