I'll come clean, as a Sonyfag I'd consider the Xbone to be just like the 360 which I would realistically enjoy.
But in my memory, Xbone was the one to push out first, they wanted to be known as the hot shit of a new console generation, and they really pushed the message hard that they will be number 1 in gaming.
They then fucked it all by releasing an entertainment gaming 2nd console. This shit was beyond retarded to focus on secondary features, who doesn't have a computer to easily browse the net, who doesn't have cable / digital tv box already connected to the fucking TV.
It would of been overlooked, but they pushed forward a new console generation early, and had NO new franchises.
Wasn't anyone else getting tired of sequels leading to the end of last gen? Sony released NOTHING, but Xbone released SHIT, how the fuck did they stuff it up so badly!

So little I did with the console when I first bought it, I mainly used it for streaming Netflix. But after the UI update and Backwards Compatibility, I've been enjoying Sunset Overdrive, Skullgirls, and all the short indie titles. It also helps trying out the free games from subscriptions.
Just finished Dark Souls via backwards compatibility last night. Already beat SOTFS, Forza, trying to get into DC Universe. Gears 3, Ori, Super Hot, might mess around with Fallout 4 mods though I haven't touched that in months. Might pickup Dark Souls 3 today. I still pay Ryse occasionally, and started playing Wolfenstein again recently which makes me want the new Doom. Geometry Wars 3.
Ok /v/ now you can whine about all that being playes on Xbox instead of PC.

I like the Xbox exclusives more than the Sony exclusives with Bloodborne being the only exception. I also can't stand the Dualshock controllers. They're way too small for me to use comfortably.

Sounds like there's a decent chance neither will have the upgraded version there, PS4 is less likely to become obsolete as it's already more powerful than the Xbone and it's install base is a lot larger so Sony and developers will have more incentive to support it.

Looking forward to Crackdown, Gears and Scalebound. Need to get Rare Pepelay.
Also looking forward to MS games going full Windows 10, well, if they have cross buy/play/save. Also with emulation going on Xbox cause of the windows store, I'll probably spend more time on my xbone. It's turning into a nice companion piece for my PC.

I use my xbox to play normie games with my normie friends and my pc to play everything else. I've been sweating out the new VIP shit on gta 5 and I've also been enjoying black ops 1 again. Also fifa.

For me I like the UI better, media features are better, gets updates more often, controller preference, and network/security infrastructure is miles better than what Sony provides (still no 2FA on PSN accounts).
My PC has been regulated to a Plex server. I rarely touch it.
