*Lily system makes the game too broken (seriously, I can launch an AoE nuke on turn 1 if I have enough people)
*Can't control your movement so you can fall down pits/into traps and end your turn

I actually rather enjoyed it, this game has the best dungeons in the whole franchise, gameplay is solid and the story had it cute moments.
Although I can't forgive them for ruining characters' personalities so much. There was no need to exaggarate one side of them and building a whole character around it. It was very shallow.

the first time I played the game I already had Junpei as my front-liner. I was extremely surprised how reliable he was at killing everything with Akihiko as back-up, doing links. I was playing P3MC so I had him as the status guy with Agility Binds, Impure Reach and Tentarafoo for a while, then I switched him for physical damaging attacks with a back-up Megidolaon if he ever crits.

If you build your characters to kill bosses, then normal encounters can be ground into paste as well as bosses, so Naoto is kind of redundant.

I dunno. Boss killing setups like links are really wasteful on regular enemies, and Naoto will wipe the entire enemy party in a single spell and do it before anyone else can move anyway. Then be at full sp the next fight due to the way sub-persona's work.
They really fucked up by making impure reach affect instant death spells.

Eh, it's easier to just select mash A for all the other characters and instakill them with Naoto. Besides, if I want to kill a boss or FOE I can easily prepare for it beforehand. Going through the actual battle even with Junpei takes a while considering how many RE's there can be. Also want to make sure to kill enemies with instant kill skills before they can attack, and Naoto always moves first.

Junpei will molest any enemy if he's paired with a linker on your team. Kanji is an amazing linker if he's got Dragon Cry, but you'll have to replenish that every so often. I recommend someone who's both fast and strong and can easily get into boost.

Myriad arrows is the best physical damage dealer, also at high levels you get Danse Macabre and Hassou Tobi with their respective demons. If you want, links also deal decent damage and can deal ridiculous damage with infinite link. Single hit skills are meh, but if you can land say, World's End as a crit power charge (via mind's eye, which also helps MA) it will do pretty fair damage. Junpei benefits GREATLY from Myriad, since he activates it twice sometimes with him. Also never use magic anything aside from buffs, ailments and Naoto's skills
