its ok, i played kf1 because of how good the gameplay felt and the grind-house tone it had.
kf2 still needs some work, but its coming along and the gunplay feels slightly better than the original(and especially melee) , the style has changed to a slightly more high tech touches, but its gonna be a while before i would justify the leap to most people.
id say wait on it for a full official release.
