GOTTEM
What a shame
Lucius, I... I...I though you were a GEP gun
Sorry kid, Lucius DeBeers says you got five seconds.
HR>dudesex1
prove me wrong.
>>340581093
HR was better desu better story and all but nostalgia overpowers me so fuck off faggot obvious bait
>>340581093
You gonna burn alright
>>340581093
HR is a piss filtered cover shooter and MD doesn't look any different. Just accept that the series is over and that Eidos got lucky with Deus Ex.
>>340581093
HR isn't even better than IW
>>340581829
Better story? I cant even remember what happened in HR and I played it this year.
>>340582336
A bunch of people got murdered and you got dismembered when your ex was kidnapped, but it's okay because she was totally cool with it. Then one of the most powerful men in the world orchestrates a plot to get augs to go crazy and murder people, but at least he has a good reason - he mad jelly. The game paints augs vs normies as some sort of racial divide, because it's an easy way to stir emotions, without really attempting to flesh out any sort of real contraversy. Actually the real controversy in it is that the augs were getting addicted to some drug they needed to take to have augs, but that's not really an important detail as it was mentioned in only one throwaway sidequest.
Throw in a bunch of name drops of characters who starred in the original Deus Ex and voilĂ you have 11/10 on IGN, don't forget your dew and doritios
>>340582336
Industrial espionage. Some weird animu nonsense too. But mostly industrial espionage. It was a very exciting story.
>>340582336
The original had grey ayylmoas of course HR is better
>>340583904
Get your facts straight, please. The original had monkeys that were genetically modified to resemble ayys.
>>340582216
MD does not look pissfiltered and there's literally nothing wrong with the cover shooting stuff
>>340584123
Why do you need Deus Ex when there's a new Cawaduty every 6 months?
>>340584038
One of them was a real ayy
>>340584038
what ever doesn't matter still hilarious
>>340584474
Oh you're one of those autists who thinks that Deus ex is just a stealth game, aren't you?
>>340578053
turn on the heat if it's cold bud
>>340584585
HR isn't good at stealth and it's even worse as a shooter. HR it just walking sequences between totally epic takedown scenes which are triggered by me pressing the awesome button, which are even less mentally stimulating than QTEs because I can just mash them
>>340581093
HR is complete garbage. Worst game in the series, even Invisible War makes it look like a joke.
>>340581093
They're both good but I think the original just has plain better levels and progression. To get through a place in Deus Ex, you may get to pick a lock, use a multitool, or just blow a door the fuck up. In Human Revolution, I felt like I was hacking all the way through the game.
I also prefer gaining experience in bulk through completing objectives, rather than getting it piecemeal through individual engagements.
I really liked HR's dialogue system though.
>>340585096
it's not like DX1's stealth is any better
>>340581093
You can't do shit like this in HR
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT7sjoH8Sqc
>>340585370
>Where's he gonna go? Bust through a wall and kill me while I'm smoking?
>>340585902
You can't do this in DX1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0l3wOT9cSg4
>>340585850
DX1 has leaning. So yeah, that automatically makes it better than HR's.
>>340586075
What? Pick up heavy objects and throw them at enemies?
>>340586854
I think he means you can't look through solid objects, while every intractable item gets highlighted by a thick yellow line
>>340586854
It's been a while since I played either but isn't it ineffective in the first game? I remember trying to throw those steel blocks at guys a few times to little effect.
In addition to vending machines, corpses people also kill people in HR. Used that to great effect in my playthrough where Malik died.
>>340588020
You need to invest in the strength aug to make it worthwhile. But if you do it you can unleash hell with a sofa.
a new age
>>340588614
Why did Page dye his hair black?
>>340588471
Ah, that explains it. I feel a next playthrough coming on.
>>340581829
>HR
>better story
what the fuck
>>340578053
A bomb!
>>340578053
When did this happened?
>>340588910
he's going through an edgy phase
Old men, ruining the world.
>>340589087
Don't forget to experiment with basketball warfare.
>>340582216
Eidos didn't make Dude Sex 1 it was the Ion Storm team led by Warren Spector
>>340589464
It's completely optional secret area, like morpheus. It's in Everett's base
>>340585850
Deus Ex wasn't some abomination of chest high walls so yeah it was better.
>>340578053
He deserved it, he killed JFK
>>340578053
I told him the truth and killed him. Made me realize Everett was just another power-hungry prick that's no better than Page.
>>340578053
>"I like to keep DeBeers in DeFridge, haha" - Morgan Everett
>>340595190
I thought it was more that Everett was a sadistic weirdo.
>>340596052
Why do I see OJ?
>>340596994
Because all black people look the same to you
