I've already got mine at v9.2 but I have no idea to go from there. I didn't do any hacks for that, it just happened to be that firmware version. All the guides I've seen start with downgrading and I can't make any sense of what to skip and what to do. I get the feeling that if I do anything wrong, it'll brick my 3DS.
