I started playing it a few days ago. I love how complete and detailed the game setting is. Beyond that though, the best part about all the stupid shit that can kill you is that it works on all the enemies too. I was fighting a boss in a confined space, but then instead of duking it out I tricked the stupid bastard into leaping off the bridge I was fighting it on and instantly won. On top of that, even though I'm worthless at PvP/don't have the good gear, running around in human mode all the time means I'm constantly having to watch my ass for invasions which makes harder areas even more pants-shitting to creep through.

Playing it for the first time now, I don't get why everyone creams themselves over anor londo. Biggie Smalls were complete pushovers and the roof archers caught me once and that's it.
Currently stuck in ghost hellhouse. I cannot find a fucking bonfire and I absolutely hate the place. The boss is hard as shit for me and the ghosts are fucking annoying, takes me 20 minutes to reach to boss with 5 estus. Fuck this place.

They are miles easier.
You just use the pilars to get some distance and sneak a quick attack to one of them. It's tiring at worst because some times they leave no window to attack but it's not that hard. Especailly because the fa fuck bited the dust in 4 lighting spear attacks and super slimboy can be dodged by moving right all the time.
4king though? If they start spamming the stupic magic chasing attack I'm dead. If they decide to do stupid long time animations and another one spawns I'm fucked since I cannot even judge distance. I simply don't have the damage to clear them out, and I cannot juggle them like I could with the othe two since there's nowhere to hide. And even if I could it would not work since another will spawn.

In all honesty Im surprised people had trouble.
The skinny fuckers are easy to kill. The big guys you can parry. The blow dart niggas you just avoid their darts. The water below isnt a threat even in the slightest and neither are any of the slugs, flythings, and spiderthings.
I managed to get through blighttown to the lower bonfire and then kill quelaag without dying. Quelaag was basic as hell.
Probably comes down to whether or not you actually think while playing; most people do not.

4kings is one of the few bosses where you actually need to be aggressive, because the spawning puts an effective time limit on the fight, which most Souls boss fights don't have. If he's been playing it slow and safe, I could easily see why he'd think it was harder; one is a boss that punishes you for being too aggressive, and the other is a bosh that punishes you for being to defensive.

In all seriousness they are. Once you realize how strong simply rolling is you can dance around o&s. Entirely depends when that clicks. Kinda hard to not realize your invincible during your roll. In fact you gotta be straight retard not to realize.
