What are some great games that you can beat in one day? Bonus points for good atmosphere or comfy feeling like in pic related.

Man Ghost Trick has zero replayability.
Why do people claim it is a good game again?
What genres are you interested in? Are you looking for PC/recent games only, or open to emulation as well?

Why not?

>detective games
>one day to beat
Maybe if you're speedrunning them

Replacing it once allows you to catch all of the details and reasons for things happening that you can understand with knowledge of the plot.
>also implying replayability is necessary for a game to be good
>>340540506
If it really isn't then almost every thread on /v/ about games and replayability has been wrong all this time.
Most people definitely treat it as a universal standard.

>anything Kirby
>great
Kirbyfags need to fuck off
>>340540065
I just finished replaying Ghost Trick for the fourth time, you're full of shit.
>>340539390
People seem to hate the game now because of the meme-spouting fanbase, and I can't blame them, butportalis still great.
>>340540628
It can be a great part of a game and make it good like in roguelights, but a game can definitely do fine as a one-time experience
>>340540687
Sorry your favorite series has bad games in it.
>>340540701
>entire plot relies on twist
>puzzle game
Unless you are getting lobotomies between playthroughs of Ghost Trick there is literally no reason to replay it.
>>340540687
This. The only two great games are the original Kirby's adventure and Superstar/Ultra

>entire plot relies on twist
False. The story is still well written and enjoyable when you know what's going to happen, as is the case with every well-made story in any piece of media in the history of the human race.

Good taste.

Thanks for no thanks tumblr.

But you admit there is really no reason to replay the puzzles at least?
And the story isn't half as good as the first time without the surprises.
So really worst replayability.
>>340541097
>But you admit there is really no reason to replay the puzzles at least?
Oh yeah, even the first time you play the game there are exactly three puzzles that have any chance of slowing the player down for more than 0.5 seconds.
>And the story isn't half as good as the first time without the surprises.
You said this before and you're still wrong.
Tales of Game’s Studios Presents Chef Boyardee’s Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, Chapter 1 of the Hoopz Barkley SaGa is honestly one of my favorite games ever.
It's only 5 or so hours long, funny and actually fun to play.Barkley 2 when
all ace attorney games. easily playable on an emulator too, except the 3ds ones

I still need to play this. The theme is great; pretty much the only slam jam worth listening to.

You could finish Cave Story in a day if you're just going for the normal ending.
>>340541297Never. Sure, they're updating the KS page again, but we both know it will never amount to anything.
>>340540065
it's very possible to play it again once you know all the twists.. you'll see all these little things popping up during gameplay
no reason to play it three times or more though
Almost every game worth playing in the NES library.
