How is this Game?

Seems like a poor attempt at copying PS:T.

elaborate

Just play the early access and you'll know what I mean. Every dialogue seems like a forced attempt at being deep and wordy just for the sake it.

I have high hopes for this game.

so they should be keeping it simple? that's not the way of the torment
>>340532998
Not really, it's more like a spiritual successor in that they're keeping the same style of the game but are exploring different themes and subjects this time. If PST was "What can change the nature of a man?" than Numenera's catchphrase is "What does one life matter?" according to devs. Seems solid according to backer beta so far, but really clunky and obviously unpolished with patch coming out soon.
I don't know if I can support something like this...
these are the guys that went after nuclear throne because they had "wasteland" in the title of their previous game

A bad excuse is better than none, pirate it anon
>>340534604
The story slides seem more well written than the dialogue in-game.

>What does one life matter?
Could be cool if done right, especially as you run into other castaways.
I have a hypothetical question. Say you backed the game on kickstarter with 50 obamas, then when the time came and you got the code and installed it on steam, you played the game and realized it's shit and you asked for a refund. Do you get the refunded amount in the steam wallet or on your card?

You don't get refunds with steamkeys. You have to buy it from the steam store to qualify.

The dialogue in Planescape is also pretty garbagy even if the story is strong. It reads like fanfiction or a teenager's role-playing text, which I suppose is part of the point, but it makes it seem so amateurish. No surprise that this is the same, with awful dialogue but a very strong backing plot.

try writing better
