Tell me some games with 5 player couch multiplayer. I care not for the genre, as long as the game be fun (and preferably emulatable).

I'm currently getting smackdown vs raw which is 6 players on PS2 with 2 multitaps.
I'm thinking quiz games might be 5 players, like Buzz maybe? Things that you don't necessarily need 4 controllers for, pass the controller type stuff.

My friends and I didn't really have fun with origins so not sure we'd enjoy Legends.

I personally found Legends a lot more fun, especially in multiplayer. Origins has some janky level design in places and the pacing can vary a lot between levels. Legends is stupidly easy, though.

Just 4 unfortunately. Sonic and Sega Allstars Transformed allows 5 on the WiiU (but at poor framerate).

It's a fairly simple run and jump platformer to grasp, but the level design will put you all through some crazy times, especially with power ups on. The modes are racing, arena, and king of the hill which gives some variety. The load of indie game characters to unlock is a neat novelty too, even if they play the same.

Dungeon Explorer for TurboGrafx-16 can be played with up to 5 players.
Several bomberman games allow up to 8 players.
Worms is fun with 5 players, but is turn based.
LieroX has 5 player couch multiplayer I think.
