This. Plasma Circle + Tempest and all you need to do is make sure the boss stays inside the Tempest. That said accumulating hits isn't really difficult. Managed to rake in 400+ hits on a trial with 3 of those mini-boss from Ragnival with Velvet.

Yeah the ghost women are annoying and it's hard to score big combos because you fling enemies too far away to keep a combo going. It's hard getting used to him. Had to retry plenty of fights to leave the place with S ranks everywhere, the hidden skill is found in the area just before the boss.
