I never said it was a ripoff, I said it was a direct clone. Every character / hero / whatever you want to call it in Overwatch has a direct counter-part to a TF2 loadout. The only difference is that they have tits and a skill that allows you to instantly kill someone or a group of somebodies.

It's fairly common but how effective/credible it is is entirely relative. A plagiarism would come with the territory of being so sickeningly similar there's no noticeable semblance of effort in the product. You obviously don't hold the game in high regard but I doubt even you'd delude yourself it's as 1:1 as plagiarisms truly are.
The fact this can go so back and forth while not hitting the majority of what Overwatch is in detail only proves my point. Call it a clone all you want, but there's still an entire game you're not judging in there. Sooner or later if you wanted to be taken seriously, you're gonna have to move to that as your point of contention, especially if it being a clone isn't even disagreed on.

And I never meant to make you think that I don't have other criticisms of the game. I think I even mentioned the fact it has anti-consumer bullshit and micro-transactions. I didn't even mention the 50% win rate cocksuckery, consumer censorship, e-sports affiliations, dumbed down gameplay, SJW / feminist pandering and so on.
And at the end of the day it's blizzard. It should be boycotted by default.
