So I wanna go back and play some of the old PC games I missed out on when I was a kid. I even dusted off an old laptop with XP to play anything that's too old for Windows 8 to handle. I know how /v/ feels about spoonfeeding, but can you help a guy out? I've already gotten Sam & Max Hit the Road, Diablo II and Planescape: Torment.

I dunno. I think there can be some enjoyment to starting fresh if it's been long enough.
Men in Black: The Game.
It's complete shit, terrible and clunky combat, ass platforming and the gameplay just really has no redeeming value whatsoever, but for some reason I keep coming back to it, especially the first to missions.

Which character are you playing? I always like the Barbarian, though the dwarf was fun thanks to a few traps that just wouldn't work on you but decapitated all the other characters.

This is a good list, it has Nox on it.

I know they're not that popular, but if you want a mech / FPS game, try Heavy Gear.
It's a bit more actiony than Mechwarrior, but still definitely feels like your piloting a mech. There's a lot of fun involved with customizing your mech's parts and weapons, you aren't totally invincible (tanks are heavily armored and will shred you if you don't have anti-tank weapons), and there's an "infinite play" mode that keeps on generating missions for once you've finished the story, which uses 90's live-action FMVs.
It was intended for Windows 95, but XP is the last Windows version it easily runs on without custom patches.
