I stopped playing Wildstar because I can't run it on anything but the lowest settings.
Whether you like it or not, low computer requirements are a plus for any multiplayer game.

im on a better shit card now(r9 270x) and 30ish FPS on medium
45 on Low
55 on Ultra Low
killed any motivation for me to play again

Well, you had it fine.
It literally fried my previous 5-year-old card (which by the way was considered minimum requirement) and with my most recent card, it still hard-freezes the whole computer on some processor-heavy moments if I try to run it on anything but Ultra-Low
I don't want (and can't afford) to buy a whole new computer just to play a f2p MMO, which admittedly plucked my heartstrings a little.
