this
game may be shit now, but the community is something that will never happen no matter what the game is now
I never played through games and I still leave a lot on my backlog, so this was the first game I actually beat. Brings back a lot of memories.

My nigga.
This game's charm rivaled Wind Waker's.
I remember going to buy this. I think I wanted Dizzy but they didn't have it, so I got Hook.
Its fairly shit as a game, but back in those days it didn't seem to matter.

I played the OPM demo of this to death. Years later I finally played the full game and was sort of disappointed.

Timesplitters 2

Goldeneye.

my man.

Goldeneye and Halo local games were always something interesting. Halo came out only four years after Goldeneye, but for some reason Halo was the game that was blasted as babby's first fps. Regardless, Turok 2 was superior.
I don't think I've ever been so excited to see a game on a shelf. I didn't get magazines at the time, so being a huge Megaman X fan and seeing this at Hollywood Video i nearly went through the roof. And it lived up to every expectation.

I was only 14 when Halo came out. Good memories and fun times. Not the first thing that comes to mind though. I enjoyed the coop play lots. First time playing I drove the warthog while my buddy maned the gun. Very cool.
Just remembered:
Fine time seeing Mario 64 at an exhibition when I was 9 was a mind blowing moment.

I was around 14 when the FFVII ads first started. My dad didn't play video games at all but that commercial convinced him to buy a PS1. I understand completely.

I have many fond memories of this game. Too bad about what happened to it.
>>340478610
I took an extended break from vidya during that time
>>340479413
I still remember sitting around my home ec class sewing some stupid shit and discussing who we hoped would be in the expanded roster. Before the internet ruined speculation

>swg
I think of it often, even o this day. It still hurts.
I just wanted to fly spaceships, man.

It's at most a 32in. I still remember my really rich friend has his SNES hooked up to a 55in that weighed 500lbs.
>>340484807
I have a CRT that size sitting in the next room
>>340478610
I don't even want to think about it OP, it hurts...

>shut down a game with a huge install base to force your new game to get new subs
>game almost immediately goes f2p
>Galaxies was a needless casaulty
RIP are the summer days where I would wake up, boot up the ol computer and play RCT/WC2/SC/TTD until I pass out. I just don't have the time or ambition anymore
Not the greatest game, but one where I used to actually enjoy multiplayer before suddenly preferring to play alone. Also, good music and graphics for a gamecube game.
It's the game I played through with my only ever girlfriend. I also had friends at the time.
Now I have neither.
