I got the WiiU because it was the only console that had decent games on it and also wasnt just an overpriced, crap PC (like the xbone and ps4 were.)

Risky strategy that wouldnt always work, but it did keep the community engaged and expecting something new. This was followed by actual free content updates that just made the game more fresh every few weeks.
