Depends who you sell it to and what comes along with it.But I'd say keep it and earn the cash another way at least keeping the PS3 you can return to your favorite PS3 games if you want to play certain games again instead of waiting on the possibility of remasters seeing as Sony didn't add backwards compatibility also come on man selling consoles you end up regretting it sooner or later.

hack the ps3 and use it as an emulation machine. you can play ps1,ps2,ps3 and psp games off a harddrive with a cfw.
