I have a wii u and pc, so plenty of games for the next couple of years. More than half of those games aren't even out yet. I'll probably get a ps4 in a year or two, when there is a good collection of games out (and proven to not be bomb out colossal failures) and the system itself is significantly cheaper.

I just bought a new PC with a GTX 970 so I won't be buying a console anytime soon.
But the only game that makes me want to buy a PS4 is Bloodborne and Persona 5.
I'll borrow a friends PS3 to play P5 so yeaaaah I won't buy a PS4 for one game.

I decided to try out pc gaming this gen so instead of a console, I bought parts. Love the experience so far over the past couple of years but I do want to play games like uncharted and the new horizon...mostly Sony exclusives. I'll get a ps4.5 later when a lot more console only games begin to release. Only reason I didn't get a ps4 the first year was because my psn was suspended over bs(literally bs). 8 years of fun just ruined, gone. Wish I could've at least retained all my trophies and friends list.
I probably also have a wiiU laying around somewhere too.

You got a GPU is the WORST time ever to get one, skipped on a PS4 that would give you the most games (Both PS3 and Vita titles, on top of exclusives) and wen with the middle ground (a PS3) which sometimes doesn't get western releases of some PS3/PS4 games, like pic related, gets no exclusives anymore (everything it has since PS4's launch is also on PS4) and doesn't even get qite a lot of Vita games that the PS4 does (such as Digimon Cybersluts or GundamBreaker3)

You could have waited a couple of months for a PS4 price drop, or buy a second-hand PS4 if its price is THAT prohibitive.
A year from now you'll go back to feeling like shit and that you're behind the times, with much cheaper PCs completely out-performing yours for the cost you paid thanks to the new cost-effective GPUs coming out, and with a handful PS4 exlusives or Sony multiplats that won't get a PS3 release (it won't be alive forever) that you'd actually love to play but deny it to not feel as bad about your outdated PS3 purchase.
