That's my largest problem with this shit. In many ways, Aiden was one of the most well done neutral characters in recent years. That despite everything going on between Lucky Quinn controlling the evil underbelly of the city, DedSec killing, stealing, and lying to fight Blume, ctOS being used to control the people, and half a dozen other plotlines, Aiden was focused only on getting what he needed done and keeping the balance of the situation while he was at it. It may have made him look flat to some people, but it was a fresh perspective that has been lost for a while. Marcus just isn't going to compare to that as just another generic chaotic good protag.

Wonderful 101 wasn't solely about a black character whose identity was based around his race and the struggles of a black man in a white society.
Being a black nerd wasn't part their character. It was being a nerd and also being black. Examples like Stevie Kenarban from MitM and Steve Urkel had different focuses on their aspects of being nerds. Not so much that they were black.
