Most of the central battle flaws of BBS, if you didn't like the Dream Eaters the skill system was annoying as fuck, making big wide open world areas to allow the player to play around with Flowmotion but the shit hardware of the 3DS meant they couldn't really put anything in it to fill it up, Drop system if you didn't want to put up with stocking Drop-Me-Nots and remember it was actually toned down a lot for the west, the plot intentionally being as bullshit crazy as possible because loldreams.I loved it myself though. If I recall 1 year in the Realm of Darkness is the equivalent of 10 years in the outside world. It's been 11, almost 12 years, so she's at least a year and a couple months older.
The real question is, why has she stayed in there this entire time. Mickey and Riku were both able to get out without a year passing in the real world, and they were separated so it clearly doesn't have to do with Mickey having the RoD Keyblade.
This trailer reminded me I haven't been truly excited for KH 3 since 2013, and have slowly been less and less interested since I played KH 2 when I was 12 years old.

On normal difficulty you can pretty much beat the game without any abilities. It's what I did because I didn't want to mess around with it. The final bosses will kick your ass though, and I eventually grinded for Second Chance and Once More.some of them are super cute though

Unreal engine 4 isn't working so well for KH3, it's a completely different art style to work with than with something like Arkham Knight. They shouldn't have switched, they ended up making the game worse. It's clear to me that square don't care much about Kingdom Hearts now and more about making the 7 remake. It's only convoluted if you didn't take the time out to actually read the data in game and enjoy the details left unsaid. I like to spend hours just talking to NPCs and treating the game more like a book. I soak up the information and it just sticks.
But not everyone is as autistic about it as I am so it's understandable when people don't get it.

You, I like you and your attitude.
But really, I mean it's not too hard to understand for the most part if you've played them all, there might be a thing or two here and there such as Ventus and Xion, but ultimately it's a pretty easy to follow series honestly. I feel most of the people saying it's convoluted, confusing, or w/e are people that have only played KH1/2 and don't really get what is going on.

Best movement options isn't always great. I liked going back to other areas in 1 and 2 with stuf like high jump or double jump to reach new places and find new things
