Who thought this was a good idea? I can understand FEDS since that's in the same structure as WASD and allows you an additional five keys to the left side of your finger placement, which can be useful in certain games with a lot of different control inputs, but that format is just stupid.

I actually really like the sense of scale in Otherworld. There's enough room for swing grappling to feel good, even just from watching. Also the Space Biome music reminds me of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I got it and refunded it. The game was extremely unintuitive with its controls, mechanics and general functions. Combat was just silly, no thought put into it. Don't buy Early Access, wait for the game to actually release. Also, there's like 1/5th of the content available from what they show. You're locked into "Quest" lines that you HAVE to do to "Proceed", you're not free at all. You could argue that it functions as a "Tutorial", but when that "Tutorial" lasts the whole, entire game...

The progression and content problems sound identical to Starbound, and maybe the mechanics if we're talking crafting.
Starbound had good general functions and controls though, it had strengths in construction and mining for sure.

Mining is the exact same as Terraria with smaller ore veins and less minerals as a whole. The progression and stuff is, yes, very Starbound-esque, and not my own personal flavor. If you enjoy that, though, the option is there.
