What engine does this game use?
Is it just a glorified wow/warcraft engine?
>>340403684
pretty sure it's just an engine they made for the game specifically, you know, like how it's normally done
>braindead casual games getting so braindead and casual that even the retarded monkeys who fall for hypetrains are becoming fed up
Is this it? Is overwatch the straw that finally broke the camel's back?

Naw man.
Companies use whatever's most cos effective.
If it's their first game, they go with a popular engine, especially for tech support when the time comes. If the company's already made a game or two or three, then they stick to an engine they already used, because they're familiar with it, and have tweaked it to their liking.
Pic related uses a modified gamebryo engine (oblivion, fallout 3, skyrim etc) and sometimes it feels awful, and I wonder if that's why (like they SHOULD have gone with unreal engine because it's used for SHOOTERS)
That said, I won't be surprised if this game uses a heavily modified warcraft 3 engine.

Overwatch uses a new proprietary engine built specifically for the game.
