I found Crash 1-3 fun and this is from someone who never played them as a kid and only recently in 2014. 2 was my favorite and is the only one that'd I'd probably go back and play again. CTR was fucking off the chain,but Diddy Kong Racing is better IMO.
I tried Spyro the same year and that was garbage, honestly. Felt like a beta and it just kept making me laugh because one of the worlds felt like it was purposely trying to be vaporwave, and yes, I know that wasn't a thing back then but it's still funny.
