I live near the town where Groundhog Day was filmed, and it's sort of depressing how much worship goes into that movie, as if to say, "this is the only notable thing to have happened here." I remember my mom taking me to watch a scene get filmed; the part where he gets depressed about his predicament and tries leaping off an opera house. I only really remember seeing Harold Ramis and wondering how Egon got so fat.
