Characters flying have been there since the start of Tekken, do i need to remind you what those things are behind Devils back? or Ogre? or Angel? Jack could fly by fucking flexing in the air or some shit.
The game has customization so anything "overdesigned" can be changed to suit your taste.
Juggles are now shorter than Tekken 6 because bound has been replaced with tailspin. Simply watching the game should be easy enough to see this and i should not need to explain it.

Actually Tailspin isn't the reason combos are shorter, it's because of the new damage scaling.
Basically, the first few attacks in a juggle do more damage than before, but after those first few attacks the scaling goes down harder and faster.
This means that people try to frontload combos, do a couple slow, powerful attacks at the start then tailspin and finish.

I doubt that the active playerbases on any system are mega huge. From experience I ran into the same players very often on consoles and lobbies for many games were extremely small.
The bulk of fighting game buyers are still people who dont actively play them.

Crossplay is generally a good thing and companies like Capcom and MS should actually be praised for implementing that into their fighting games. Its not truly revolutionary, but its how things should be. But they arent for some reason.
