I've done AAA gamedev and this kind of stuff, especially for an unannounced game, is kept on a very tight leash with very strict access control, and any copies are easily traceable to who ever is dumb enough to do this. They make this very clear to you when you join, that the NDA that encompasses the entire project is serious fucking business and they will ensure you never get a job in the industry again should you break it. And anything you might care to leak is easily traced back to the group or person who leaked it. Every piece of material or asset that gets passed around is 'salted' in a way that it uniquely identifies who ever had access to it at the time, it might be a slightly different shade of color on some concept art, or a slightly different wording in some document. But they will find your ass and you are done the second you make the mistake of sharing that with the press or people not authorized.

All right so here are my plans for an action hacking overworld game that doesn't suck. Give opinions /v/.
Gameplay: Emphasis on strategy. The "magic hack device" you have is explained as a device that runs code for you with different input patterns. So you have things like cars you can set up to do stuff, set timers and traps, etc. The game will have quick paced parkour(AC levels of climbing but quickly, much less pauses). The game will have actual hacking on computers, you'll have to figure out various puzzles with the code to find things. You get a cyber exoskeleton that gives you extra running speed, extra strength, big jumps. The game has various combat styles, regular 3rd person gunplay, but then me lee weapons that have an almost hack and slash style of cuhrazy combat, bare handed combat that has brutal finishers that change with the environment(you can charge an enemy and bash his head into a wall, for example). The game will have real boss fights that demand creativity, a flying cyborg, jousting on motorcycles across a bridge, a helicopter shootout that brings you jumping onto the enemy's helicopter, and you fist fight him as you tumble, and when you land in the water you drown him, etc. Storywise, you start out in a movement trying to destroy a corrupt city government that uses a city gang as their main enforcement. However, you find the group you're in is not the noble crusaders you thought. They put you and your main bitch in trouble, they make your friends betray you, they make your girlfriend get captured by the enemy, and you and your rival escape and work to fight the city government, the movement, and end the street war going on. Plot wise, I think it's pretty generic. But I'm going more for gameplay and interesting characters than a cinematic masterpiece. So what do you guys think, realistically, I don't think I'll ever succeed. But screenshot this shit, just in case it ever does.
