After playing the P.T. demo I can say with certainty this will be the greatest horror game of all time, maybe even one of the best games of all time period.

I dont get it. Del Toro himself isn't a master of horror or suspense. He just likes making fun but dumb films with very flashy and artistically lighted fighting scenes.
Ito's work always had terrible blueballing endings and mostly lean on surrealism with very detailed appearances.
The actor was from a "okay" adaptation of an "okay" zombie comic book that has little to no scares.
And Kojima himself is a hack writer.
People were hyping this up like it was going to completely define Horror, but the numbers only pointed to something just above average.

It was all wishful thinking. They gave a good demo and everyone filled in the blanks and let themselves believe what they wanted to believe rather than being even a little objective. Gamers are stupid and never learn.

Del Toro is great at setting up ambiance and that is really important in horror, as well as ANY game really.
Ito's body horror skills are unmatched. He surely would be more involved in art rather than writing.
Kojima would probably be more responsible for the gameplay. I'm not a fan of his writing but the games were all pretty fun to play.
All 3 have their strengths and could produce a unique game that innovates the boring as fuck horror genre.

Absolutely not. He introduces the antagonists and protagonist of his films as exaggerated as he deems necessary so the viewer can immediate note good guys and bad guys. No gray line. He builds atmosphere like he paints his wall by slapping it with as much color as he can.

I redeemed it on the store when it was still around but I didn't have a PS4. It just mocks me in the library when I go on anyone's PS4 with my account and I'm kind of desperate to play it before having to watch it through on youtube (which I really don't want to do).
