Reviewers always hate musous unless they're Sterling. Legends is a musou that's already a few years old ported to a handheld system it's not suited for where unless you have a New 3DS it's virtually unplayable.

The funny thing is, there isn't a gay character, and there aren't any straight characters either. There is literally no reason for Blizzard to try and create romantic relationships between any characters. All it would do is make some group of shippers or sjw's mad. They can just say that a character is gay, claim to be progress, all the while doing nothing to develop any characters sexually.

The series has been doing the same shit since Demon Souls with a fresh coat of paint every time.
The series itself is hardly new but every time I try to think back to playing games like it as a kid on PS2 I can't remember those immeasurable games names. But now the concept has died out so when FROM does it, its fresh again.
The story is pretty bad and can't even keep itself straight.
The graphics are average to above average. They work well for the game but the details are poor. The scenery is great but when you look closely at anything, even in DaS3, its pretty blurred up to hide the low res.
The netcode is frankly awful and probably the worst of the worst for the whole series. If we were playing rocket league and an average pvp match had a guy hit a ball 2 seconds after he drove by it we'd be eating psyonix alive. FROM gets basically a pass on this from a lot of people and the people that bring up how bad online is get shouted down by the git gudders who don't have any real opinions but want to participate in the conversation.
On that note - hit collision detection is amateur at best. It's embarrassingly bad and it's unsettling how people accept attacks going through walls as normal and not a piss poor bug. This is by no means a rare bug either. As a lesser manifestation, nearly all the armor has clipping issues. For some reason everyone is fine with this AAA game looking like a Fallout New Vegas mod when it comes to clipping.
Enemy design is sometimes highly unoriginal generic human with weapon that attacks 2 or 3 or 4 times then stops so you can hit him.
Most fights are generally like this with predetermined attacks followed by a predetermined rest. Getting good at the game means observing and exploiting the rest period in an AIs attack instead of detecting an opening
