Finally someone posted the best one. People usually post the other Incredible Machine games, but "Even More" was by far the best (and had the best art style).

>tfw you were too casual for the "separate the balls by shooting them with guns" puzzle
>>
Just about any puzzle game.
Notable if you enjoy 3D Puzzles include the Talos Principle, the Witness, and Infinifactory.

Contraption Maker was pretty good

Oh cool, it's actually made by the people who made The Incredible Machine

Switch HoI3 with Darkest Hour.
Drop Victoria 2, maybe switch it out with Conquest of Elysium.
Do this and that image is pretty much perfect.

X3:TC was fun for me, even though I'm generally bad at super deep games. Took me about 30 hours to get past the learning curve and figure things out, but I enjoyed myself the whole way.

Open world simulated space and economy, with factions and such. Pretty sweet.
>>
>>340354995
I like DH over HoI3 myself, but HoI3 is probably more complex.

>Conquest of Elysium
I've heard the name, but never heard anything about it. Tell me more about it.

CoE is by the same people that did Dominions. It's a hybrid of a roguelike and a strategy game.
>>
Everything by zachtronics
This includes spacechem TIS100 and infinifactory
>>

Space Station 13 would be fun if it wasn't so shitty and janky to play. Somebody who actually knows how to code worth a damn should remake it. Also NetHack isn't complex. It has a bunch of bullshit in it, but it's not complex.

Space Chem is fun.
>>
>>340355804
It says up to 8 players multiplayer. While I can't imagine multiplayer would be necessary for enjoying such a game, are there at least some people still playing?
>>
>>340356201
I've only played Dominions multiplayer so I can't comment on CoE. I don't think the mp is very popular though.
>>
>>340356292
Ahhh, I see. Game looks great, though.
>>
>>340355026
X3:TC is very good at the economy and trader-progression simulation; far better than Elite: Dangerous' shallow attempt.

Only thing X3 lacks is good dogfighting. The combat's not bad, but I think it could be better (along with the flight model).
>>
>>340353946
holy fuck that level brings back memories of frustration
>>
>>340358101
It was literally the game's casual filter. I think it was one of the first puzzles that wasn't automatically unlocked from the start.

huh, maybe i should go back and try it now that i'm not a small child

i'm still too damn stupid for system's twilight though, i know that for a fact

ADOM too, since i don't know how anyone could actually manage to get the best ending without reading shittons of spoilers.
Secrets are not complexity.
>>
>>340358846
Still, in both ADOM and Nethack, there are a shit-ton of mechanics to deal with - and all those quests. Even if it's wiki-diving, it's still a lot of stuff. I would call it complex.
>>
>>340358776
Shit, I think I played this at school as a kid. There was another Apple game, too - some sort of educational math game set on the moon (which I remember having a similar, trippy art style).
>>
Bioshock infinite

Couldn't get past that first puzzle, truly a game for intellectuals
