When I stopped my Game Informer subscribtion 2 years ago.
Probably the last issue of Nintendo Power before my subscription ran out in the 90s. Used to think about subscribing to another some years ago. But based on where they have gone and the hilariously bad state of current gaming "journalism" (calling it journalism is disrespectful to actual journalism), I'm glad I didn't. This media is a joke. I do miss the magazines of the 90's, though. From the articles or the advertisements; they were all about fun.

Ever since they put youtube links on their walkthrough pages I stopped buying them.
When game informer or whatever gave sonic generations a 6.5 or 7 out of 10 score. It was bullshit. Thats when I knew something was up.
