I bought Doom retail, it came with the first 10 gigs on disc. Also came with the kickass reversible cover. And was cheaper than buying it via steam because of regional pricing that doesn't account for exchange rates.

actually on the ps4 you can start playing right away while the 20gb patch downloads. It just won't install the patch until you close the game.
