You're both right. Uncharted is not interesting in the sense of being something new or special, its not as magnetic as some other games in the thread.
But the concept is done to absolute perfection, superlative animation and art alongside characters that we've come to know and love make it a completely atmospheric experience.
It has a place in the thread but it would never be at the top of the list for me.

Atmosphere isn't about being stylistic necessarily. Its about portraying things in a way that the viewer is transported into the world you've created.
If art is stylistic atmosphere should follow, and vice versa. It all depends on what exactly you're trying to portray to the consumer.
